Who we are

About the Panel

Neighbours keeping a public record of what is wrong on our streets, and what is being done about it.

The Riverbend Residents Panel is a group of volunteers who live in the four neighbourhoods by the river. We meet once a month in public, and anyone who lives here is welcome to come.

We are not the council and we do not fix things ourselves. What we do is keep a public record. When something is wrong and stays wrong, we gather the evidence, show how many neighbours it affects, raise it with the people responsible, and post every reply here. We also follow the regeneration plans for the area, so residents can see what is proposed and tell us what they think.

Our four areas

We represent four Lower Layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs), the small areas the Office for National Statistics uses for the census. The map only accepts reports inside them.

How we use what you send

Every report is read by a volunteer before anything is published. We take out anything that could identify a person, check photos for faces, number plates and addresses, and only then put it on the map. Your name and email are only used to follow up with you. See our privacy notice.

Meetings

Panel meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, 7pm, at the community hall. Feedback from each meeting is added to the issues and developments it was about, so you can follow a problem from the first report to the outcome.
